Many times a need will arise within an organization to help manage a certain task. Let's take a hypothetical case. A company has 100 sales locations around the country. Each location is rented from a different landlord. This process has become very cumbersome and some mistakes in the management of making payments and managing the leases have cost the company thousands of dollars.
The company decides it must get some type of application to help manage this process to avoid future penalties and to automate the process thereby saving employee labor costs. A search for this application ensues and after a couple of weeks an application is found that will solve the problems. The only problem is the software will cost $40,000 and will have a ongoing maintenance fee of $5,000 per year. It seems like a great investment in light of all the penalties and lost opportunities.
This is where Affordable Automation can come in and potentially make a big difference. Many times after meeting with a salesman for an application described in this hypothetical example it is easy to get excited and think this is the best answer without a doubt. But many times what these applications are actually doing is not really rocket science. AA can come in for free and give you an alternative that will get the job done for much, much less. In this example, AA could produce an application that will accomplish basically the same thing for a fraction of the cost, maybe even as low as $5,000. As anyone can see, a $35,000 savings is a really big deal.
The question becomes, why not ask AA to come in and give an alternative that could save thousands of dollars? What would you be losing?
